South of England Ink Fest – Ticket Terms, Conditions, Cancellation & Refund Policy

These terms apply to all ticket purchases and attendance at South of England Ink Fest.
1. Acceptance
By purchasing a ticket or attending the event you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
2. Ticket Sales
Tickets are valid only if purchased through official sales channels. Fraudulent, duplicated, altered or unauthorised resale tickets are void. The organiser may cancel tickets obtained through pricing errors, fraud or automated purchasing.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
Except where required by law, tickets are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, the face value of the ticket will be refunded. If postponed, tickets remain valid unless alternative arrangements are announced.
4. No Refund Circumstances
No refunds are available for change of mind, illness, travel disruption, accommodation issues, weather where the event proceeds, late arrival, early departure, artist or timetable changes, or refusal of entry for breach of these terms.
5. Event Changes
The organiser may reasonably change artists, traders, schedules, attractions, layouts, sponsors, entertainment or facilities without liability.
6. Force Majeure
The organiser is not liable for cancellation, postponement or interruption caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, fire, pandemic, government action, terrorism, industrial action, utility failure or venue closure.
7. Entry
Admission is subject to security checks. Entry may be refused or revoked for safety, security, capacity or breach of these terms without refund.
8. Searches & Prohibited Items
Bags and persons may be searched. Weapons, illegal drugs, fireworks, explosives, hazardous materials, unauthorised drones and prohibited items are not permitted.
9. Behaviour
Violence, harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, vandalism, excessive intoxication or failure to follow staff instructions may result in removal without refund.
10. Wristbands & Tickets
Wristbands must remain attached. Lost, removed, shared or tampered wristbands may not be replaced and may invalidate entry.
11. Camping & Parking
Camping and parking are subject to separate operational rules. Unless stated otherwise, the same refund policy applies.
12. Tattoo Artists & Traders
Appointments, deposits and purchases from artists, traders or food vendors are contracts with those businesses. The organiser is not responsible for third-party refunds or services.
13. Photography, Filming, Live Streaming & Media
South of England Ink Fest is a public event where photography, video recording, audio recording, livestreaming and broadcasting may take place throughout the venue.
13.1 Photography & Recording
By entering the event you acknowledge and accept that you may be photographed, filmed or recorded by the organiser, authorised media, exhibitors, tattoo artists, traders, sponsors, influencers, contractors, security personnel or other attendees using cameras, mobile devices, CCTV, authorised drones or livestream equipment.
13.2 Organiser's Rights
The organiser may photograph, film, livestream and record any part of the event for social media, websites, advertising, promotional campaigns, future event marketing, printed material, press releases, documentaries, broadcasts, editorial publications, sponsor promotions and historical archives. Material may be edited, reproduced, published and distributed worldwide without further notice. Unless required by law, attendees are not entitled to inspect, approve or receive payment for such content.
13.3 Live Streaming
Parts of the event may be livestreamed on platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, X and future platforms. Attendees acknowledge they may appear incidentally in these broadcasts.
13.4 Tattoo Artists, Traders & Sponsors
Artists, exhibitors and traders may photograph or film their own work and stands for legitimate business purposes. The organiser is not responsible for independently produced third-party content.
13.5 Visitor Photography
Personal photography is permitted provided it does not obstruct the event, interfere with tattoo procedures, harass others or breach staff instructions. Commercial photography or filming requires prior written approval.
13.6 Commercial Content Creators
Professional photographers, videographers, influencers and production companies must obtain accreditation. Accreditation may be refused or withdrawn.
13.7 Privacy
As this is a public event, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed and attendees should reasonably expect to appear in crowd scenes and background footage.
13.8 Removal Requests
The organiser is under no obligation to remove lawfully created photographs or videos, but may consider requests involving genuine legal or safeguarding concerns.
13.9 CCTV
CCTV may operate for public safety, crime prevention and incident investigation. Recordings may be disclosed where legally required.
13.10 Consent
By entering the event, attendees grant the organiser a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use their likeness as it appears incidentally in event recordings for lawful promotional, editorial and commercial purposes. This clause does not affect statutory privacy or data protection rights.
14. Children & Accessibility
Children must comply with published admission requirements and remain supervised where applicable. Guests requiring accessibility assistance should contact the organiser before the event.
15. Lost Property
The organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings.
16. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser is not responsible for indirect losses including travel, accommodation, parking or loss of earnings. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.
17. Chargebacks
Customers should contact the organiser before initiating a chargeback. Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may be contested and associated tickets cancelled.
18. Privacy
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the event Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
19. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
20. Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
21. Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement relating to ticket purchases and attendance.
