Event Information

Venue Address: South of England Event Centre,
Selsfield Road, Haywards Heath, RH17 6TL

Event Dates: Saturday 8th August 2026 –
Sunday 9th August 2026

Event Times: 10am – 8pm both days

Site Entrance

Entrance to the showground is through the North Gate on
Selsfield Road. Stewards will be present at the entrance to direct you to the
correct area to park your vehicle.

Arrival

Arrival Times:

Friday 7th August: 10am – 8pm

Saturday 8th August: 7am – 9:30am

Sunday 9th August: 7am – 9:30am

Upon arrival glamping spaces will be allocated and you
will be shown to your Glamping pitch.

Inflatable lounge chair

Electricity

Welcome hamper

Camping Tent

You will be allocated a camping pitch upon arrival. Please keep your areas clean

Public Opening Times

The event opens:

Saturday Public Entry: 10am – 8pm

Sunday Public Entry: 10am – 8pm

After hours activities will take place after closing.

Health & Safety

Fire exits must remain clear at all times.

Report incidents or hazards immediately to Event
Control.

Follow all instructions issued by security or
management staff.

No camp fires are permitted on site.

Parking & Access

Parking can be accessed through the North Gate.

Stewards will be present at the entrance of North gate
and in the parking areas.

Security & Conduct

Security staff will be present throughout the event.

Please secure valuables and equipment at all times.

Any equipment left unattended is left at your own
risk.

Aggressive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the event.

Camping/Glamping
Rules

By entering the camping or glamping areas at
South of England Ink Fest, all attendees agree to follow the rules below. These
rules are in place to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for
everyone.

1. General Campsite
Rules

  • Camping is only permitted in designated
    camping areas.
  • All campers must hold a valid camping or
    glamping ticket/wristband.
  • Campers must follow instructions from
    event staff, security, and campsite stewards at all times.
  • Campsite pitches operate on a first come,
    first served basis unless otherwise stated.
  • Please be respectful of fellow campers,
    staff, and nearby residents.

2. Arrival &
Departure

  • Campsite opening and closing times will be
    communicated before the event.
  • Early arrivals may be refused entry.
  • All tents, vehicles, and equipment must be
    removed by the stated departure time.
  • Vehicles must only be parked in authorised
    areas.

3. Wristbands &
Access

  • Wristbands must be worn at all times.
  • Security may request proof of camping
    access at any time.
  • Sharing, transferring, or tampering with
    wristbands is prohibited.
  • Only authorised guests may enter glamping
    areas.

4. Fire Safety

For safety reasons,
the following are STRICTLY prohibited:

  • Open fires
  • Fire pits
  • Chinese lanterns
  • Fireworks
  • Flares
  • Candles inside tents
  • Fuel
  • Gas stoves and gas canisters

Small raised camping
stoves may be permitted if used safely and responsibly.

BBQs:

  • Must be raised off the ground;
  • Must never be used inside tents or
    enclosed spaces;
  • Must be fully extinguished after use.

A tent can catch fire
extremely quickly. Please act responsibly. 

Event management
reserves the right to remove unsafe equipment.

6. Noise &
Behaviour

  • Please keep noise to a respectful level,
    especially during late night and early morning hours.
  • Excessive noise, anti-social behaviour,
    intimidation, or harassment will not be tolerated.
  • Aggressive or abusive behaviour may result
    in removal from the event.

7. Alcohol &
Drugs

  • Personal alcohol may be permitted within
    campsite areas for responsible consumption only.
  • Illegal drugs and psychoactive substances
    are strictly prohibited.
  • Anyone found supplying illegal substances
    will be removed and may be reported to the local authorities

8. Prohibited Items

The following items
are prohibited:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Large knives or blades
  • Fireworks or explosives
  • Sky lanterns
  • Hazardous materials
  • Excessive quantities of alcohol intended
    for resale
  • Illegal substances

Security searches may
be conducted upon entry.

9. Glamping Area
Rules

  • Glamping structures must not be moved or
    modified.
  • Damage to glamping accommodation may
    result in charges.
  • Only registered occupants may stay in
    glamping units.
  • Additional tents or structures are not
    permitted within glamping pitches unless approved.

10. Campervans
& Live-In Vehicles

  • Campervans and caravans require a valid
    ticket in order to stay onsite.
  • Vehicle movement is prohibited during
    public operating hours unless authorised.
  • Awnings and additional structures must
    remain within allocated pitch boundaries.

11. Waste &
Cleanliness

  • Please use bins and recycling facilities
    provided.  
  • Campers/Glampers must leave their pitch
    area clean upon departure.
  • No tents to be left on site. Please take
    all your belongings with you.

12. Toilets &
Facilities

  • Toilets and washing facilities are
    provided for all campers.
  • Please respect facilities and leave them
    clean for others.
  • Any deliberate damage may result in
    removal from the site.

13. Security &
Personal Property

  • Security staff will patrol the campsite
    throughout the event.
  • Attendees are responsible for their own
    belongings.
  • South of England Ink Fest accepts no
    liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

14. Medical &
Welfare

  • Welfare and first aid services will be
    available during the event.
  • Any medical emergency should be reported
    immediately to event staff or security.

15. Under 18s

  • Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a
    responsible adult.
  • The responsible adult must remain onsite
    with the minor throughout the event.

16. Removal From
Site

Event management
reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual without refund for:

  • Dangerous behaviour
  • Violence or threats
  • Non-compliance with campsite rules
  • Drug dealing
  • Criminal activity
  • Damage to property
  • Unsafe fire use

17. Leave No Trace

Please respect the
venue and environment:

  • Take tents and equipment home;
  • Dispose of rubbish responsibly;
  • Help us keep South of England Ink Fest
    clean and safe for everyone.
